Francoeur Finishes T24 at Maui Jim Intercollegiate
Former URI star Chris Francoeur finished in a tie for 24th at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate this weekend at Mirabel Golf Club in Arizona.
Francoeur fired a three-day score of 205 to finish in a seven way tie for 24th.
All three of Francoeur’s rounds were in the 60s.

Meanwhile, the Louisville Cardinals finished fifth in the tournament, 18 shots behind first place Georgia Tech.
Francoeur’s 3rd Round
Starting on the first hole, Francoeur opened with birdies on the third and fifth holes before a bogey on the eighth hole set him back one.
Making the turn, Francoeur birdied the 10th and 11th holes to get to three-under on the day and inside the top 20.
However, bogeys on the 14th and 15th holes sent him backwards.
Francoeur got one back on with a birdie on 16 and then saved par on 17 and 18 to shoot 68.
