Bryant Tied 4th After Round 1 of  Ryan Lee Memorial

In their first competitive round of the season, the Bryant University golf team is in a tie for fourth place out of 16 teams doing battle at the Ryan Lee Memorial at Hop Meadow Country Club in Connecticut. 

The Bulldogs combined for a first round score of 293 to tie for fourth with Siena and Hartford. 

They are just two shots out of first place, currently held by Boston College.

The final round of the tournament will take place on Sunday.

Leading Bryant

The Bulldogs were led by Tyler Hahn who fired an impressive five-under par 67 in the first round to keep the Bulldogs in the mix. 

Hahn opened with birdies on the fourth and sixth holes before bogeying the seventh to drop a shot. 

However, he would make up for it. 

Hahn birdied eight and nine, and then 15 and 17 on the back to post 67. 

No other other Bulldog broke 70. 

Following Hahn was Jack Woods, who shot an even par 72, while Jack Boyd, Pat Galleher and Ty Dupuis posted 76, 78 and 78 respectively.
