Francoeur Makes Louisville Debut Friday at Maui Jim Intercollegiate
Former University of Rhode Island Golf star Chris Francoeur will make his Louisville debut on Friday in Arizona’s Miracle Golf Club in the Maui Jim Intercollegiate.
Francoeur is considered one of the best players to ever come out of URI.
He spent four seasons there, before transferring to Louisville for his fifth year.

The Maui Jim Intercollegiate is the first of five fall tournaments for Louisville who was unable to play last fall due to COVID-19.

This past July, Francoeur won the Ouimet Memorial Tournament at Woodland Golf Club.
Francoeur fired a three round score of 207 to win the tournament by two shots over Kevin Gately and Dillon Brown.
In his final season at URI, Francoeur won the individual title at the Upstate Spring Escape, while the Rams finished second.
Back in March, he also took the title at the Hartford Invitational, while the Rams again finished second as a team.
