O’Leary, Chatfield Struggle in Round 1 at Marquette Invitational
The first round of the Marquette Invitational was a struggle for Rhode Island Golf stars Andrew O’Leary and Davis Chatfield.
O’Leary fired a two-over 74 in the first round, while Chatfield posted a four-over 76.
They are tied for 49th and 73rd respectively.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame is in fifth place for the tournament with a team score of three-under par.
The Irish are ten shots behind first place Purdue.
O’Leary’s 1st Round
The 2019 RI Amateur champ opened his tournament with a birdie on the second hole, before going bogey, double-bogey over the next two holes
O’Leary closed the front nine with birdies on the fifth hole and ninth hole to turn at even par.

On the back side, O’Leary bogeyed the 12th and 15th holes to post two-over for the day.
Chatfield’s 1st Round
Chatfield was even through the first three holes before his round was derailed by a double-bogey on the fourth hole and then another bogey on nine to turn at three-over.
On the back side, Chatfield made another double on ten, before birding the 14th hole to finish at four over for the round.
