Patrick Reed Withdraws from Northern Trust with Ankle Injury
Patrick Reed has withdrawn from this week’s Northern Trust Tournament due to an ankle injury.
This is the second straight event in which Reed has pulled out at the last second after doing the same thing last week at the Wyndham Championship.
He will not be replaced in the field.
As far as his FedEx Cup Standings go, with his withdrawal, he is projected to drop to 27th in the rankings.
Reed is currently 22nd.
The top 30 players make it to East Lake.
