RI Boys Finish 3rd, Girls 2nd at NE Junior Amateur Championship
Team Rhode Island will be leaving Vall Halla Golf Club in Maine without a trophy after two days at the New England Junior Amateur Championships.
The RI boys finished in third place at 56-over par, 46 shots behind second place Connecticut and more than 50 shots back of first place Massachusetts.

Meanwhile, the girls team finished in second place, 12 shots back of first place Massachusetts.
RI Girls Leaders
The three Rhode Island girls stars finished 5th, 7th and 8th respectively int he tournament.
The girls were led by Gianna papa, who finished at 25-over par for the tournament and in a tie for fifth place.
Two shots behind Gianna was her sister Vinny, who finished seventh at 27-over par for the tournament, while Kylie Eaton finished 8th at 28-over par.
RI Boys Leaders
The boys side of things was led by Max Jackson and Harry Dessel, who finished ninth and tenth for the tournament.
Jackson finished five-over for the tournament, while Dessel finished seventh for the tournament.
Bennett Masterson finished 11th at 8-over par.
The RI team was rounded out by Spencer Dumas and Cole Vieira, who finished t21 and T26th respectively.
