Jay Barrow defeated Josh Cimbak to win the Foster Club Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Barrow won the match 4&2 to take the title.

“Really good match, he was even par and I shot four-red to win on 16,” Barrow said about the match.

This is Barrow’s ninth club championship title. 

He has seven titles at Exeter, one a Laurel Lane and now one at Foster.

Match Story 

The match was all-square through the first four holes, before Barrow won three of the next four holes to take a commanding three-up lead heading into the back nine. 

Barrow won the 11th hole to take a four-up lead after Cimbak made a bogey. 

However, Cimbak made an eagle on the par-5 14th hole to get back within three, but he would not get any closer. 

Barrow would birdie the 16th hole to close out the match.
