Triggs, Newport National Ranked Among Best Value Courses in U.S.
Triggs Memorial Golf Course and Newport National have been ranked among the best value courses in the United States.
The list put out by Golf.com, rank courses across the country that people can play for $150 or less.
“The Top 100 Courses You Can Play for $100 or Less has a nice ring to it, but after some teeth gnashing, we collectively decided to cast a slightly wider net and draw the line at $150 — with a caveat: For a course to make the list, $150 would be the absolute most you would pay to play it in peak season,” writes Golf.com.

Golf.com ranks Triggs as the 69th best value course in the U.S., and Newport National as the 70th best value course in the country.
According to Golf.com, Triggs can be played for as little as $37 to as high as $48.
Playing Newport National will cost you anywhere from $105 to $150.
They are the only two Rhode Island courses to make the rankings.
