Ron Amado Storms Back to Win Warwick Senior Club Championship
Ron Amado stormed back from three-down on the back nine to win the Warwick Country Club Senior Club Championship on Sunday over Michael Gooding.
Through 12 holes, Gooding was three-up and looked to be in complete control.
Amado won 13 and 14 to get back within one, then dropped a birdie putt on 15 to tie the match.
He would take a one up lead on the 16th hole and close the match out on 17.
Amado defeated Gooding 2&1.
This is his first Senior Club Championship.
