Papa Looks to Bounce Back in Round 2 at Girls Junior PGA Championship
Vinny Papa’s first round at Valhalla in the Girls Junior PGA Championship did not quite go as planned.
Papa fired an 8-over 81 in the first round and currently sits in a tie for 109th.
She will look to have a strong second round on Wednesday when she tees off at 8:10 a.m.

The top 70 players and ties make the cut after Wednesday’s round.
Lake Worth, Florida’s Alexa Pano leads the tournament with a score of 7-under par.
Papa’s First Round
Papa opened the round by bogeying four of her first five holes to go to four-over par.
She put together a good stretch of golf from hole six to hole 11 in which she made a string of pars, before making bogey on the 12th hoe.
Papa then made bogey on 15 and a double on the famous 18th hole to close out the day.
