Andrade Tied for 26th Heading Into Final Round of U.S. Senior Open
Rhode Island’s Billy Andrade is three-over par and in a tie for 26th heading into the final round of the U.S. Senior Open.
After an opening round of 65 and a first place tie, Andrade has shot back-to-back rounds in the 70s, including a 73 in round three to tumble down the leaderboard.
Jim Furyk currently has the lead at eight-under par, four clear of Stephen Ames.
Andrade’s Third Round
Andrade played the front nine at even par, bogeying the third hole and birding the sixth hole to shoot 35.
Things got interesting on the back nine when Andrade bogeyed 10, 12, and 13 to go to three over on the day before dropping a birdie on the 14th hole.
Andrade closed the round with a bogey on the 18th hole to shoot 73.
