Tee Times for U.S. Amateur Qualifying at Crestwood
A slew of Rhode Islanders are off to Crestwood Country Club on Tuesday to attempt to qualify for the U.S. Amateur.
Rhode Islanders qualifying include multi-time RI Amateur champion Brad Valois, 2005 Amateur Champion Tommy McCormick, past Amateur champions Billy Forcier and Notre Dame star Davis Chatfield.
Other notables include La Salle phenom Max Jackson, URI golf star Chris Francoeur, RI’s Mike Caparco, and Matt Phillips, as well as, Pat Healey.
The top two spots make the cut. There will also be two alternates.
The 2021 Amateur will be held at Oakmont Country Club in early August.
