St. Rays’ Nick Emery Wins U.S. Kids Tour Event at Warwick
Rising St. Raphael Academy sophomore Nick Emery fired a 79 at Warwick Country Club to win the U.S. Kids Tour event on Monday morning.
Emery won the 15-18 year-old division.
It was his first time playing in the division.
Next up, Emery will be playing in the NEPGA’s Jr. Championship on Tuesday and Wednesday at Shaker Hills in Massachusetts.
As GolfNewsRI reported, Emery was the only Rhode Islander to qualify for the championship at Crystal Lake.
There will be two to three other Rhode Islanders playing in the championship.
