Patrick Welch Misses Cut at Sunnehanna Amateur
The struggles continue for Patrick Welch.
Welch posted a three-round total of 11 over par to miss the cut at the Sunnehanna Amateur on Friday afternoon.
The cut was four-over.
Next up for Welch will be next week’s Northeast Amateur at Wannamoisett Country Club.
Welch’s Final Round
After playing his opening nine holes in one-under par, Welch struggled mightily on the back nine.
He saved par on the tenth hole, before making bogey on 11, 13, 15 and 16 to push him well outside the cut line.
The former Classical star managed to make birdie on the 17th hole, but gave it right back on 18.
