Vinny Papa Changes Putters, Leads Terrapin Classic at Hunt Valley CC

Rhode Island’s Vincenza “Vinny” Papa is taking a one shot lead into the final round of the Terrapin Classic at Hunt Valley Country Club in Maryland.

This comes after a putter change.

“I was using a Ping Sigma 2. Now, I am using an Oddesey Stroke Lab Tuttle. When I got the Ping, I was 4 ft tall now I am 5 ft tall,” said Papa.

She adds, “So funny, it was three-years-old and 5 inches too short. I had it since I was nine, now I’m 12. I am getting old.”

The final round of the tournament will take place on Thursday.

Virginia’s Lilly Hall is one shot back.
