RI’s Brad Adamonis Holds Share of Lead at Mass Open
Rhode Island’s own Brad Adamonis holds a share of the lead at the 111th Massachusetts Open Championship following completion of play on day one.
Adamonis is tied with Connecticut’s Max Theodorakis at four-under par when play was suspended for the day due to darkness.

The tournament got off to a late start due to weather.
Adamonis was through 16 holes.
Adamonis’ Round
The Providence native birdied the second hole, but then bogeyed the fourth hole to fall back to even par.
From there, it was a flawless round for Adamonis.
He dropped birdie putts at the seventh and ninth holes, and then birdied ten and 12 to get to four under.
Prior to being halted, he had parred four straight holes.
Chris Francoeur in Field
University of Rhode Island star Chris Francouer is also in the field at the Mass Open.
Early on in round two, he is one over par and in a tie for 19th.
