Welch, Oklahoma Set to Play for National Championship
Patrick Welch and the University of Oklahoma will play for a National Championship on Wednesday afternoon.
The Sooners will take on Pepperdine in the title match starting at 4:30 p.m. eastern time at Grayhawk Golf Club in Arizona.
This will be a rematch the East Lake Cup, which was won by Pepperdine during the fall portion of the season.
However, it is unknown if Welch will play in the match.
After sitting for several weeks, Welch played in the Sooners quarterfinal match against Illinois and got drubbed 8&6.
In the semifinal match, Garett Reband was put back in the lineup and he also got beat handily.
