Tiger Woods’ Niece Cheyenne Woods Qualifies for U.S. Women’s Open
There will be a Woods in a U.S. Open after all.
That is because Cheyenne Woods, the niece of golf legend Tiger Woods, qualified for the Women’s U.S. Open earlier this week in Spring Lake, New Jersey.

Despite a two-stroke penalty for hitting the wrong ball, Woods won the qualifier by five strokes.
“Honestly, I feel like the penalty really dialed in my focus and got me a little angry, where I just wanted to just play my way in,” said Woods after the round.
Woods shot 73 in her opening round with the penalty strokes.
On the second 18, she poured in five birdies and posted a 69 to beat Meghanns Ganne.
The last time Woods qualified for the U.S. Open was in 2018.
The U.S. Women’s Open will be held from June 3-6 at The Olympic Club’s Lake Course in California.
