Francoeur Takes 2 Shot Lead into Final Round of A10 Championship, URI in 2nd
URI star Chris Francoeur will take a two shot lead into the final round of the A10 Championship on Sunday at Reunion Resort and Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
Francoeur posted a four-under 68 on Saturday to take the two shot lead over Dayton’s Henry May heading into Sunday.

“We needed everyone to step up today, and Chris reallly set the tone,” said URI Head Coach Gregg Burke after the round.
Francoeur’s 68 was the third-best score carded on Saturday, behind only VCU’s Mikkel Antonson’s 6-under 66 and VCU’s Joe Retford’s 5-under 67.
The URI senior surged early, recording four birdies on the front nine, including three on the first five holes. Through 36 holes, Francoeur has just one bogey with six birdies.
