East Prov City Council to Host Special Meeting Thursday, Potentially Vote on Future of Metacomet
The East Providence City Council will host a special meeting to discuss the future of Metacomet Golf Club.
According to City Council documents, the meeting could be one of the final chapters in the ongoing Metacomet saga.
“City Council discussion and potential vote related to pursuit or termination of Eminent Domain proceedings for property located at 500 Veteran Memorial Parkway, formerly known as Metacomet Golf Club,” writes the City Council in their docket.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 29 at 7 p.m.
The meeting can be attended in person or virtually via Zoom.
