Bryant Finishes 4th at NEC Championship
The Bryant Bulldogs finished in fourth place at the 2021 NEC Championship on Sunday afternoon at Penn National Golf Club.
The Bulldogs started the day seven shots off the lead, but finished 14 shots behind.
Bryant finished with a team score of 51-over par, finishing well ahead of Mount St. Mary’s, St. Francis and Wagner College.
Leading the Way
Leading Bryant in the final round was Dan Kurson.
He posted the best round of the day, posting an even par 72 to finish in a tie for ninth. He dropped in four birdies on the back nine.
After leading the Bulldogs in round two, Nick Piersall was posted a four-over 76 in the final round, still good enough for a tie for sixth.
It is his fourth top-ten finish this season.
