Valley Country Club in Warwick is seeking a banquet manager.

Valley CC is seeking an energetic, friendly, and hard working candidate to join our team! We have an immediate opening for a full time Banquet Manager position.

The Banquet Manager oversees all aspects of a banquet or event, including set-up, food presentation, serving,
and cleanup while focusing on detail and quality presentation and customer service.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Ability to follow direction as laid forth in a detailed BEO
• Ability to work with other departments as part of a team
• Must maintain finesse and have the ability to work well in high-pressure situations including handling guest complaints and resolve them to satisfactory results
• Maintains constant contact with kitchen staff to ensure complete effective communication between food production and food service.
• Monitors banquet staff to ensure all operating procedures are followed.
• Manages room setup of tables, chairs, av, and other event details
• Supervises clearing and post function cleanup and resets.
• Responsible for training and coaching of all new/existing banquet staff.
• Attends regular management and event meetings
•Perform administrative tasks as required.
Additionally:
•Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum of 2 years in a banquet supervisory role is required (Captain, Manager, etc)
• POS experience required
• Must have knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and preparation
• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
