Callahan Discusses his son Chase, Upcoming Golf Tourney at Valley

Michael Callahan joined the Golf Dudes Podcast on Thursday night to discuss the “Chase for a Cure” golf tournament he is hosting to benefit his son – Chase.

As Callahan explains in the video, Chase was born on May 3, 2018, was diagnosed with rare disease called Kyphoscoliotic Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (KEDS) five months later.

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a genetic connective tissue disorder. It affects the heart, blood vessels, joints, eyes, and spine. 

The golf tournament will take place on Tuesday, May 17 at Valley Country Club with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. 

Callahan revealed that there are still about 40-50 spots available for those interested. There are plenty of other ways to get involved as well. 

Funds raised from the tournament will benefit Chase, as well as, the Marfan Foundation.
