Justin Rose Withdraws from The Players
PGA Tour star Justin Rose has withdrawn from The Players due to a back injury on Thursday morning.
Last week, Rose withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational after four holes due to back spasms. The withdrawal came shortly after he made a nine on the third hole.
He was scheduled to tee off at 1:11 p.m.
Rose is being replaced by Steve Stricker.
Other Players Out
Harris English also withdrew from The Players early Thursday morning. He is replaced by Kristoffer Ventura.
Earlier this week, former Masters champion Danny Willet was forced to withdraw due to the coronavirus.
