Troy Pare Leaves Ledgemont for Florida’s Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club
Long time New England golf pro Troy Pare is leaving Ledgemont Country Club for the warmer weather of Florida.
Pare has taken a job as the Director of Golf at Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club in Vero Beach, Florida.
Pare posted the following on Facebook:
“It’s Florida time, born and raised in New England for 45 years. I have accepted a new position working as the Director of Golf at Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club in Vero Beach, Florida. I’ve spent my entire career in the New England PGA section, making so many great friends within my PGA world. I will miss each and everyone of you, but you all have helped shaped me into the professional I am today and I thank you all for that. South Florida PGA, I’m coming for you. Please come see me when you visit Florida in the future.
I’ll be thinking of all my New Englanders in less than 2 weeks when I’m working and sweating, can’t wait for the warm weather.”
Pare has been the Head Golf Pro at Ledgemont for five years, after taking the job in February of 2016.
Prior to that, he worked as the Director of Operations at The Preserve at Boulder Hills for nine months.
His first job as a Head Pro came at Wannamoisett Country club from 2008 to 2014.
Pare was the Assistant Golf Pro prior to that.
