In the first comments of his own since last week’s accident, Tiger Woods reacted to the dozens of Tour players and fans wearing red on Sunday.

The day saw players on the Champions Tour, PGA Tour and LPGA Tour dress in black and red in a show of support for Woods.

“It is hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the TV and saw all the red shirts. To every golfer and every fan, you are truly helping me get through this tough time,” Woods said in a post on Twitter.

Woods is still in a Los Angeles hospital recovering from severe leg injuries suffered in the accident.

It is unclear what his the future holds for him regarding golf.
