“The goal was to shoot under par and I did, and so that’s all I can do. Whatever happens, happens from here. It’s been great,” said Sorenstam after her round.

She will tee off early on Saturday. Coverage can be seen on Golf Channel.

Sorenstam Makes Cut

After shooting 75 on day one, Sorenstam made nine straight pars on her first nine holes, Lake Nona’s back nine.

Upon making the turn, she made back-to-back birdies, including a chip in on holes two and three to get to under par.

“Yesterday, I was trying to just maybe play overly smart. Today, I just released the club a little bit more. I think that worked out,” said Sorenstam.

After a bogey on the fourth hole, she dropped a long birdie on the seventh hole to get a shot inside the cut line.

She closed with a bogey on eight and a par on nine to finish right on the number.
