Cantlay Withdraws from Workday Championship Due to Dehydration
Rising golf star Patrick Cantlay has withdrawn from the World Golf Championships – Workday Championship at The Concession due to dehydration and an upset stomach.
“Unfortunately, due to an upset stomach and dehydration I have withdrawn from the WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession. I’m extremely disappointed, but looking forward to getting back out on the course soon. I’m very grateful to the WGC-Workday team, tournament organizers and volunteers,” said Cantlay in a statement.
As a result of Cantlay withdrawing, Min Woo Lee will take Cantlay’s place in the 12:26 p.m. tee time off the first tee with Justin Rose and Carlos Ortiz.
Tevor Simsby will move to the 11:09 a.m. tee time with David Lipsky and JC Ritchie off the tenth tee.
