McIlroy Elected Chair of Player Advisory Council
Rory McIlroy has been elected Chairman of the Player Advisory Council (PAC) for the 2021 calendar year.
The PAC advises and consults with the PGA Tour Policy Board and Commissioner Jay Monahan on issues that affect the Tour.
Voting ended on Thursday, February 11.
McIlroy Gets Elected
McIlroy was elected over Russell Knox and Kevin Streelman.
He will serve a one year term and then become a player directory for three years starting in 2022.
Rory is the first player not from the U.S. to be elected to the position.
