CBS Ripped After Nearly Disastrous Coverage of AT&T Pebble Beach
Saturday’s broadcast of the third round of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am was nearly a disaster for CBS – and they heard about it.
Coverage started on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. and ended at 2:45 p.m. as the leaders were getting ready to make their way through some of the most famous holes in all of golf.
From 2:45 p.m. to approximately 3 p.m.….there was no coverage – like none at all.
There was no scheduled coverage from 2:45-3, then when you switched over to CBS at 3 p.m., it turns out, the college basketball game was still on and was running late.
This seemingly happens every week.
Thankfully, Golf Channel, sort of, saved the day by picking coverage back up until CBS finally took up coverage.
