Trevor Immelman Offers Classic Tom Brady Story
Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl title last night as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9.
Brady threw for just over 200 yards, including three touchdown passes in the game.
Following Brady’s victory, former Masters Champion Trevor Immelman recalled this classic Brady story:
“I’ll never forget back in May at the Match 2 a few hours before tee off Brady is in the parking lot at Medalist, in the rain, by himself doing this strenuous sprint/stretch workout. Charles Barkley asked him what the hell he was doing, he said “I’m trying to win a Super Bowl”
Immelman was a commentator for that match which saw Brady and Phil Mickelson lose to Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods.
