Koepka Fires Coach Claude Harmon III
Brooks Koepka has fired his long time swing coach Claude Harmon III, according to Golfweek’s Eamon Lynch.
According to Lynch, Harmon revealed the split during an interview with Golfweek on Monday.
Harmon says the split came two months ago, three days after Dustin Johnson won the Masters.
“I was informed on the Wednesday after the Masters that he wanted to go in a different direction,” Harmon told Golfweek.
According to Lynch, Koepka told Harmon the news during a meeting at the Floridian Golf Club in Florida.
Koepka has since confirmed the breakup.
Harmon started working with Koepka in 2013 and has helped guide him to four major championships.
Koepka missed the cut at this past week’s American Express tournament.
