Francoeur, Chatfield Make Noise in Latest PGA Tour University Rankings
Rhode Island golf stars Chris Francoeur and Davis Chatfield are continuing to make noise in the latest PGA Tour University rankings released on Sunday.
Players eligible for the PGA TOUR University Ranking List are NCAA Division I golfers who complete a minimum of four years in college, or who complete three years, but deliver intent and proof of early college graduation.
Francoeur, who plays at the University of Rhode Island, is ranked 266th with 507 points and nine events played.
Meanwhile, Chatfield, a former RI Amateur Champion, is ranked 316th with 413 points and six events played.
There are more than 400 college players ranked.

The top five players ranked are:
1. John Par – Florida State
2. Chun An You – Arizona State University
3. Austin Eckroat – Oklahoma State University
4. Davis Thompson – University of Georgia
5. Sandy Scott – Texas Tech University
