Golf Channel Cancels ‘Feherty’ After 10 Years
Golf Channel has canceled David Feherty’s golf talk program ‘Feherty’ after ten years, according to Golf Digest.
Feherty did nearly 150 episodes in those ten years, interviewing golfers and celebrities like Phil Mickelson, Scott Van Pelt, Rory McIlroy and others.
“I don’t know what the reasons were for the decision. I think it was a combination of things. We haven’t been able to shoot any episodes because of COVID. The Golf Channel move. I don’t know. Maybe it was just time,” Feherty told Golf Digest.
Feherty told Golf Digest that he knew his show was ending in the spring, a few weeks after Golf Channel announced that it was moving its headquarters to Connecticut.
The last show of Feherty aired in September and featured Shane Lowry.
Feherty will stay a part of the NBC and Golf Channel broadcast team after signing a three-year deal back in December of 2020.
