Former Pleasant Valley Pro Young to Oversee PGA Tour’s Rules & Tournaments
Former Pleasant Valley Country Club head pro Gary Young will oversee the PGA Tour’s rules and tournaments for the 2021 season.
This comes after long time tulles officials Mark Russell and Slugger White announced their retirement.

Young’s Career
Young joined the PGA Tour rules officials in 2007 after working at Pleasant Valley Country Club for 22 years.
He started at PVCC in the bag room and then as an assistant to head pro Bobby Molt for four years.
Young served as head pro and director of golf for a dozen years.
On the PGA Tour, Young worked his way up to Vice President of Rules, Competition and Administration in 2019.
