NFL Canceled Tom Brady’s Golf Round with Bruce Arians
Despite it being one of the safest sports to play during the pandemic, the NFL reportedly banned Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady from playing golf with head coach Bruce Arians during their bye week.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Brady and Arians had planned to play several rounds of golf during the bye week, before the NFL canceled it.
“Gathering outside the facility is not allowed in the COVID-19 protocols. And so, golf was out,” said Rapoport.
Brady and Arians had planned to play as many as 54 holes during the week at Old Memorial Golf Club in Tampa.
Even though Brady and Arians missed out on bonding time, the Bucs still beat the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday to move to 8-5 on the season.
