Texas-Based Company Seeks to Develop Attleboro’s Atlantic Golf Center

First Metacomet, then potentially Mulligan’s Island and now Atlantic Golf Center in Attleboro.

Texas-based developer Anthony Properties has submitted a petition to the Attleboro Municipal Council to rezone the land so that they can develop it into residential and commercial space.

“We are looking to develop a multi-family property with residential and commercial space,” an Anthony Properties representative told GolfNewsRI.

Atlantic Golf Center spans over several acres and consists of a driving range, and mini golf.

It has existed at that location for decades.

The site used to consist of a par 3 course, Shadow Creek, but that is closed permanently, according to Atlantic’s website.

A public hearing on the rezoning is set to be held on December 15.

Rezoning is just one step. It is unclear how long the project would take, or if it is for sure happening.
