Jim Nantz Seeking Significant Pay Raise from CBS
The voice of The Masters, and CBS Sports, Jim Nantz is reportedly seeking a significant salary increase from the company, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.
According to Marchand, Nantz, 61, is seeking more than $17.5 million per year, which is what his NFL partner Tony Romo is currently getting paid.
He is the highest paid tv analyst in history.

Nantz just finished calling the 2020 Masters at Augusta National, and has been calling the tournament since 1986.
According to the New York Post, Nantz currently makes approximately $6.5 million per year on a contract that ends next summer.
By comparison, Joe Buck makes approximately $10.5 million at Fox, and NBC’s Mike Tirico is near that number as well.
