Harry Higgs Tests Positive for Covid-19
PGA Tour player Harry Higgs has tested positive for the coronavirus and withdrawn from the Houston Open.
Higgs was not invited to play in next week’s Masters. He is the fourth player in the last five weeks to test positive.
“While I am disappointed to have to withdraw this week, I am grateful that I drove to Houston by myself and was alone as I awaited my pre-tournament screening results. I look forward to returning to competition when it is safe to do so,” said Higgs in a statement.
Higgs last competed in the Zozo Championship.
Kramer Hickock will replace Higgs in the field.
