REPORT: Augusta National’s Ridley to be College GameDay’s Guest Picker at Masters

Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley will serve as the guest picker for ESPN’s live broadcast of College GameDay at The Masters, according to Outside The Cut.

As GolfNewsRI reported, College GameDay will broadcast from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 14 on a stage overlooking Ike’s Pond and the 9th green on the Par 3 course.

“Anytime College GameDay travels to a new destination it’s special, and the opportunity to be on the grounds of Augusta National Golf Club during the Masters is extraordinary. As this iconic event coincides with the college football season for the first time, we look forward to getting fans ready for a football Saturday, while also showcasing the Masters and the greatest golfers in the world,” said Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman, ESPN and Sports Content.

College GameDay always brings someone on as a guest picker, everyone from former players to professional wrestlers like The Undertaker.

It was previously unclear who the guest picker would be.

ESPN will broadcast the first two rounds of The Masters before turning it over to CBS for the weekend.

CBS’ coverage will pick up at noon time on Saturday.
