Course Review: Glocester Country Club – October 6
After busting my butt the last few days doing my front lawn, I rewarded myself with a round at Glocester Country Club.
It’s a private course but a buddy and I bought a twosome for 18 holes with cart, and driving range on a Groupon. It was a great buy.
Gloucester is in great shape, it’s small, only 9 holes, but a great lay out.
It feels like a private course but has a very welcoming feel to it.
Every player stopped to say hi and the Golf Pro was awesome.
He came out of the club house and gave me the lay of the place.
And the greens are the best I’ve played on ALL season. They’re fast, but true, not like putting on ice where you hit the ball and HOPE it gets close.
If you hit the right line you’ll hit your putt.
