Viewership for Payne’s Valley Cup Skyrockets

This past Tuesday, Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, Rory McIroy and Justin Rose took part in the Payne’s Valley Cup at Wood’s new course, Payne’s Valley, in the Ozarks.

Turns out, it was a huge hit.

According to Golf Channel PR, the Payne’s Valley cup averaged 330K viewers per minute, becoming the most-watched Tuesday telecast on Golf Channel since the 2011 Tavistock Cup.

Coverage peaked between 7:15-7:30 when the players were on the bonus 19th hole. During that time, 491K people tuned into.

The Payne’s Valley Cup saw Woods and Thomas edge McIlroy and Rose by one point.
