After a dominant performance by Kirkbrae on Friday afternoon, it was looking like more of the same on Saturday morning until Alpine made a late charge.

Playing Four-Ball at Alpine, Kirkbrae won the first four matches on the course, including a dominating performance from Mike Hamilton and Scott Boulis, who won 5&4.

However, Alpine would take points out of three of the last four matches on the course, including two wins and a halve to take a little bit of momentum into Sunday.

Despite Alpine’s charge, Kirkbrae leads the matches 13-3.

Sunday singles will start on Sunday morning at Kirkbrae.

Kirkbrae needs just seven points to retain the Ryder Cup.
