Koepka Withdraws from U.S. Open

Two-time champion Brooks Koepka announced that he has withdrawn from next week’s U.S. Open at Winged Foot due to knee injuries.

“Unfortunately, I have decided to withdraw from next week’s U.S. Open. I’m looking forward to getting healthy and competing at 100% again very soon,” Koepka wrote in a social media post on Wednesday.

This news comes after Koepka missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship and then withdrew from the Northern Trust Tournament in Boston.

Koepka will now look ahead to The Masters in November.
