Mickelson Holds 4-Shot Lead Heading into Final Round of Champions Tour Debut

Two rounds into his Champions Tour debut, Phil Mickelson is looking poised to come out with a victory at Ozarks National in Missouri. 

Heading into Wednesday’s final round, Mickelson leads by four shots over Rod Pampling and Tim Petrovic. 

Final round tee times have been moved up on Wednesday due to weather. 

The tournament can be found on Golf Channel starting at 1 p.m. 

Mickelson’s Second Round

After shooting 61 in the first round, Mickelson opened his second round with a birdie on the third hole to get him going. 

Mickelson would save par on the fourth hole, before birding 5,6, and 7 to get to four under par for the day.

He would close the front nine with a birdie to move to five under par. 

Mickelson would make bogey on the 10th hole to drop a shot, but recover by birding 11 and 12. 

His final birdie came on 14, before he parred in to shoot 64. 

Rhode Islanders in Field 

Billy Andrade is currently three-under par and tied for 39th. 

Brett Quigley is two-under par and tied for 45th, while Brad Faxon remains in last place at eight over par.
