Triggs Memorial’s Tramonti Tied for 7th After Rd. 2 of NEPGA Section Championship
Triggs Memorial’s Robert Tramonti is tied for 7th after day two of the 100th New England PGA Section Championship at Myopia Hunt Club and Tedesco Country Club in Massachusetts.
After shooting 71 in round one, Tramonti posted 75 on Tuesday to be four over for the tournament.
He is tied with two other players and just one shot out of third place.
Falmouth’s Shawn Warren has the lead at five under par.
He is seeking to win his second straight Section Championship.
“It definitely is not the type of golf course that normally I feel I have an advantage on, this is more of a position golf course. I thought I just did a nice job today of staying disciplined and taking what the golf course gives you. Maybe not playing as aggressive as I normally would but laying it back more into position golf,” said Warren after the around.
The final round will take place on Wednesday.
Ten players will earn exemptions into the 2021 PGA Professional Championship.
