Collin Morikawa has won the 102nd PGA Championship.
Morikawa shot a Sunday 64 to win the tournament by two strokes over a slew of players including Paul Casey.
The win is the third of Morikawa’s career in just 27 starts.
The shot of the tournament came on the 16th hole when Morikawa put his tee shot on the green about seven feet from the hole.
He would make the eagle putt to take a two shot lead.
In fact, in Morikawa’s final 22 holes, he recorded one eagle, seven birdies, 14 pars and no bogeys.
RI Ties for Morikawa
Morikawa won the Northeast Amateur at Wannamoisett Country Club back in 2017.
“The 2017 NortheastAm champion has been showing what he can do for a long time. That drive he hit on 16 is one he surely won’t forget and neither will we,” wrote the Northeast Amateur on Twitter.
