Grayson Murray Becomes 7th Positive COVID-19 Test on PGA Tour
PGA Tour pro Grayson Murray has tested positive for the coronavirus, becoming the seventh positive test on Tour since its return to play.
Murray made the announcement on his Instagram account on Sunday night.
‘This past Friday I started having symptoms of a migraine, runny nose and lose of smell/taste. I was supposed toe leave for a tournament in the morning but I knew getting on a plane feeling crappy wasn’t a good idea. Luckily a couple people I know made some calls and they were able to administrate a rapid test for me this evening and the results came back positive for Covid-19. I will be self isolating t home and following the PGA Tour guidelines so I can get back out on the course as soon as possible. If I’ve been around you in the last week and you start to feel any symptoms please go get tested.”
Murray was originally scheduled to play in this weeks’ 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.
Murray has played in three tournaments since the PGA Tour’s return, missing the cut twice and then withdrawing from the third event due to a back issue.
