VIDEO: RI’s Billy Andrade Takes Part in “Cooking Because” Fundraiser
Rhode Island’s own Billy Andrade join co hosts Bob Papa and Billy Ray Brown on the online show “Cooking Because.”
The goal of “Cooking Because” is to raise money for families that are struggling to put food on the table due to the coronavirus crisis.
“Cooking Because. Because way too many people need us right now. Because lines at food banks are too spirit-crushingly long. Because too many American families aren’t sure where they might get their next meal. Because too many moms and dads are carrying the unimaginable weight of loss. So much loss. Because it’s exactly what we all need to be doing – helping. AND Because – we love to cook, tell stories, get you involved and surprise you with who’s cooking next,” says the fundraiser’s GoFundMed page.
So far, “Cooking Because” has raised more than $17,000.
