Cranston CC Offers Heartfelt Message to RI High School Golfers

Earlier this year it was announced that the Rhode Island high school golf season would be canceled due to the spread of coronavirus.

With that, Cranston Country Club offered a heartfelt message to to high school golfers and the seniors who lost the chance to compete this season.

The state championship was scheduled to take place later this week at Cranston CC.

Memorial Day Weekend at CCC for over twenty years has always been known as practice round weekend for the Rhode Island Interscholastic Leagues State High School Golf Championships.

Although we had a very busy weekend we couldn’t help but miss seeing all the participants working hard on their games preparing for the honor to represent their respective schools for the state team and individual championship.

Unfortunately for the seniors Covina-19 wipes out their high school golf season.

We want to take a moment and wish all the players well especially the seniors.

Learn a lesson from this pandemic that there are just certain things in life that are beyond our control.

Don’t use it as a crutch there is nobody to blame and grow stronger from this experience.
